Nissin represents its company values with the phrase, "THIS IS EARTH FOOD." This messaging, along with references to the Chinese origins of ramen and (later) instant ramen in Japan, tells a rich story of cultural spread that we see in almost every grocery store all over the world. This campaign intertwines the classic Nissin logo with an earthen look to reflect the genesis of the original noodle dish, and refreshes the iconic instant ramen styrofoam cup and cellophane packaging into more sustainable paper options.
In addition to This is Earth Food, Indulge in Culture and Food is a peace industry, are also used to form the campaign's tonal essence and main messaging. These cups and packs of comfort food celebrate and encourage the spread of peace, enrichment, and global cultural exchange.
